The staff are friendly and very helpful. The service is good and the staff are very knowledgeable. They always give good advice and answer your queries. The service is also quick, most times I've gone in I'm served straightaway.
Long opening times are useful providing you don't arrive at one of their frequent 'balancing' times as I always seem to do and find the shop open but the counter closed!Counter staff are not well trained. They frequently refuse to accept pre-paid parcels because the Royal Mail on-line fee is sometimes slightly less than the over-counter fee. The High Street Post Office acknowledge that this is a training issue with PO Counters in convenience stores and are always happy to accept pre-paid parcels.
I use the post office for co-op bank cash deposits etc. Very friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended.
