Misleading information. They give prices of NHS treatments on their website, it even says children are seen free on NHS, but when I called to ask if they were accepting new NHS patients, I was told they are a private practice! This needs to be clearly stated, and their NHS information should be removed from their website.
I was referred to Simon for dental implants in March of this year and have now finished my treatment. As a lady of mature years! I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness by Simon who put me completely at my ease. The treatment was explained to me in great detail and professionally carried out. I would recommend anyone who is considering having an implant not to hesitate visiting this dental practice. You will find Simon attentive warm and very friendly.
My last dentist retired abd I was transferred to Charlton Road Dental Surgery. I needed a tooth extraction before I had even met the team and from the outset the whole experience, which ultimately led to an implant and some news caps being put in place, was excellent. The team are professional using state of the art equipment. It made going to the dentist a pleasant experience which is not something one can often say.
I just had my last session in a long run of absolutely brilliant dental treatment...Which started with my dentist detecting a serious problem in my face cavity, causing a strange bacteria to eat away at my jaw bone. After quite a lot of work, an operation two years ago, followed by a bone transplant back at Charlton Road: Ive just had the last of 6 Dental Implants fitted. A mouth full of teeth again! Fantastic! At no point did I every feel tense, uneasy, or suffer pain (I prefer this treatment to having a filling). A fantastic team of Dental Surgeons, Dental Nurses and Reception Staff. I cannot praise Charlton Road Dental enough. Thank You very much. John Fricker
I found that I needed implants after exhausting most of the other treatments , crowns, bridges etc. Cost of course is a factor but when I went for a free consultation it was explained that there are all types of ways to pay so there should be a plan available to suit all pockets .Implants do not happen in a single session and can/will take some months to complete so you pay 'a bit at a time'.I can hear the readers saying that implants are cheaper abroad and so they are. The problem is that Charlton road surgery is just down the road and 'abroad' could be hours on a plane and with the Charlton road surgery you will be seen the same day should a problem arise so do consider this when you are thinking of rushing off to Europe to have your teeth 'fixed'.The actual procedure was quite painless done in a relaxed manner, and yes I did not feel a thing !! All of this is due to Simon and his team who ensure that you are talked through the whole procedure as it is happening .Ask any question, raise any fear and it will be all explained to you and reassure you. There is honestly no pain and little discomfort. Follow up calls the next day ensure that you are thought of and cared for .Am I glad I had implants ? yes indeed .Yes they are not cheap in the short term but look after them and you can say goodbye to dentures , crowns, bridges and the like for many, many years . Did I get paid for writing this ?Not a penny !! It is all my own experiences at Charlton Road Dental clinic and I thoroughly recommend treatment here for dental implants and general dentistry .
